Effective & powerful presentation skills.

This section was conducted by Mr. Abdullah and Ms Rusilawati. It has had 6 modules and it was conducted in 2 days. In module 1 I have learned about the strategy, substance and style of presentation. In module 2, i learned about effective communication in verbal and non verbal communication. In module 3, I have learned about delivery techniques. In module 4, I have learned about how to get the audience attention. In module 5, I have learned about handling the question.  Lastly in module 6, I have learned about becoming in expert in presentation. All the module cover the good communication skill in presentation.

Business proposals 101

In this course it discuss about how to make a proposal for business. Proposals are formal attempts to convince someone to approve, sponsor, agree to, or a project or an idea. It’s also means to persuasive offer to solve problems, provide services, sells equipment or ideas. The proposal components are including copy of RPF, letter transmittal, executive summary, title page, table contents and list of figures. This course was present by madam Norfarahiyah Mohd Kamal and madam Norliza Mohd Hashim.

Effective resume and cover later

This course was present by madam Norfarahiyah Mohd Kamal and madam Norliza Mohd Hashim. In this course I have learned about how to write effective resume. These are some tips that I have learned in class. When we write a resume, we must make sure our resume is accuracy, simple and honest. Besides that, we must use high grade paper and clean type, avoid italics typefaces, use quality printer, give you enough space to present persuasive but accurate, portrait your skill and accomplishments, and avoid the pronoun “I”. That’s some tips how we can write the resume.

Conducting effective meeting.

This section was present by Assoc. Prof Mohd Khir Ashari. In this section I have learned about meeting and their law & practice, how to conduct a meeting, how to write down the meeting minutes. In this section also I learned about the validity of meeting, how to do preparation before meeting, how to conduct a meeting efficiency, how so solves a problem during meeting. Before I attend this course, I dun know about how to conduct meeting wisely. But in this course, I have learned a lot about how to conduct a meeting effectively.

Public Speaking

Public speaking is good communication skill that helps us to success in school and work; it will improve our relationship with family and friend and deal with challenges. In this section I have learned about the elements and volume of public speaking. The elements of public speaking are volume, rate, emphasis, articulation, organization and word choice. I also learned about word and phrase emphasis exercise. Thanks to mr. Hisyam and ms Shadwan Hanani for teach our class how to do public speaking.

Blogging 101

In blogging 101 I have learned about a purpose about blogging, know the various types of blogging, know how to creating my own blog site and understand customization.  In this section I have learned a lot of new things about blog. Before this I dun know how to create a blog and how to use it. But Alhamdulillah, after attend this course, I know how to create and how to use a blog wisely. Thanks to mr Halim gazali and ms Sita Hashim. 

BeST PROGRAM

In BeST program I have learned lots of skills and techniques in communication. I believe that all BeST participants will agree with me. In this program I learned about communication skill and it barriers, listening skills, presentation skill, types or communication. In this section also I have learn about communication from Islamic perspective. We have learned communication based on Islamic teaching. Which is based on al-Quran and sunnah. In this section also we have learn about the purpose of life, worship, the manner of greetings, the power of good words, remembering Allah, devotion of Muslim, making distinction, being fair and not biased, and many more about communication in Islamic perspective. For me that is very good for my knowledge. It also can give motivate to me. This topic was presented by Puan Norliza Mohd Hashim and Puan Nor Farahiyah Mohd Kamal.
